The Los Angeles D-Fenders strive for excellence on the court and in the community. Throughout the NBA D-League season the D-Fenders actively participate in youth basketball clinics, educational programs and environmental awareness initiatives all around Los Angeles.

The D-Fenders, the El Segundo Police Department, and the El Segundo Fire Department are teaming up to support the Ed! Foundation in their Battle of the Badges. The El Segundo Police Department, and the El Segundo Fire Department will be playing each other in a basketball game on Sunday, February 12th from 1:30-3:30, prior to the D-Fenders game against Austin Spurs. Tickets sold for this event will get them into both the El Segundo game and the D-Fenders game, which tips-off at 5:00pm PT. In addition to the game, festivities include: raffles, booths selling merchandise, and Beach Mex providing food outdoors.
Hey D-Fenders fans! Bring a new unwrapped toy to any December home game and receive a Lakers prize. All toy donations will be donated to the Holiday Angels Program at Connections for Children. The Connections for Children organization aims to build a stronger future for children, families, and communities through quality child care resources, education and guidance.

The Los Angeles D-Fenders continued their Season of Giving as the players, coaches and staff hosted a basketball clinic for 100 NJB Walnut basketball players on December 18th. The two-hour clinic focused on teaching Kindergarteners through 8th graders fundamental offensive and defensive basketball skills.
